The Trevi Fountain is one of the most famous attraction in the world, a must see place in Rome, Italy.
If the place is always wonderful, a special time when to visit it is when it’s late at night, as the crowd is sleeping and the city is quiet.
A short description from wikipedia:
“The Trevi Fountain (Italian: Fontana di Trevi) is an 18th-century fountain in the Trevi district in Rome, Italy, designed by Italian architect Nicola Salvi and completed by Giuseppe Pannini in 1762. Standing 26.3 metres (86 ft) high and 49.15 metres (161.3 ft) wide, it is the largest Baroque fountain in the city and one of the most famous fountains in the world.”
To visit the closer part of the Trevi fountain between 9am and 10pm (09:00 22:00) there’s a ticket of 2 euros to be paid since 2nd of February 2026.
This ticket is meant to regulate the access to the most delicate part of the square and avoid damages to the fountain.
The rest of the square, from where you can still see the fountain, is still freely accessible.
